" Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least." -- Goethe
" Until he extends his circle of compassion to include all living things, man will not himself find peace." -- Albert Schweitzer
How does the meadow flower its bloom unfold?
Because the lovely little flower is freedom to its root, and in that freedom bold."
-- William Wordsworth
The radiant beings call nature and the animal kingdom "God's greatest gift." Reverence for all life is ever present living at one with Great Spirit.
Nature speaks, if we listen. A ready "springboard" to explore dimensions beyond this reality, the natural world is alive. It is a breathe away. You can sit in a tree and go to the moon. The heart turns into a magic carpet able to transport you to a reality beyond the one between your own ears. The only magic of it is real - like how it feels to call up the wind, and be met by something charged with a pulse that is invisible, but of this world. The wind is living energy, animated, moving, responsive in the extreme. As we meet the sea, or sky, mountain, rain, or sun, we meet ourselves; we touch the Source of creation.
Whether in Light or on earth, animals are pure joy. Loving them reveals everything I could ever hope to find here. The wilderness and animals have put me in touch with how the divine may be revealed in daily life as practical, comical, mystical, prophetic - you name it.
In the same way that I have been led by the guides and teachers to reach out for the essence in others, in all states of consciousness, on higher planes of existence, nature embraces my spirit. Looking into the eyes of any fellow creature lights a fast path to universal, divine understanding. The windows to the soul are a direct, live, line of sight to higher worlds. "The breathe of the soul is infinite." We are uplifted by the beauty of the natural worlds God gave all to share the universe with.
Personally, I've been blessed with lifelong companionship in my animal family. Mutts, Corgis, Wolves, Labs, Shepherds, Setters, Retrievers, a motley crew of sweet horses, and a fine stream of cats have all found their way to me. At eleven, the cats on my doorstep numbered over 60. Cats walk with Spirit, as much as they gift it to humans.
At times of great personal endurance or change, and certainly any questing, of the personally assigned Light caretakers and guides, angelic animal companions are first on the scene, last to recede from view.
During the search for my Father's missing plane, "an example of Faith " saved the day. The search professionals in the Alps told me that they can depend upon their eyes for up to 45 minutes. I was searching for up to 14 hours on a good day - weather permitting. I prayed for "the eyes of a hawk" with all my strength, immediately felt the back of my head, below the crown, open up and fill with the most phenomenal energy imaginable. It was a pure, weightless, white light that blew open my tired eyesight, expanding my vision to a depth and crispness I can not describe. It was exactly what was needed to go on. It was not human; it adjusted to all weather conditions, all angles, all terrains to such a degree, I was startled.
Animal telepathy is as built-in an expression of attunement to a Loved One as that between any mother and child, or twins, for instance - in any species. One need not be dependent upon body language, alone, to live happily, or honestly, with God's other creatures. Telepathy is universal. It's a great blessing, like all other extraordinary systems existing in nature, to have at our disposal, and one I would not be without.
Of all the psychic muscles we are born with, and may use at will, telepathy lets us have an instant gauge to know the conditions or circumstances of our Loved Ones, or home - of anything that we love, no matter the time or place, or dimensions involved. It is tapping into an omniscient source that never changes. Awareness, energies, and access to frequencies fluctuate, not the availability of Truth or Light sources or wisdom surrounding us always in the Divine Light.
Telepathy is a mind to mind, heart to heart exchange. It occurs, unsolicited, as a sensory response when any potent energy shifts in any environment or living being that is near to us. If I'm not physically in contact with or in the same "space" with anyone I love or feel strongly about, I will know if anything happens, as it happens, that they have a strong emotional or mental reaction to. In a heartbeat. That's nature's best security system; nothing manmade can live up to it. It's as ancient as creation. Our air spaces are all at one, all at once in earth views.
Clairvoyantly seeing through the eyes of others, or clairaudiently hearing them in conversation are more advanced manifestations of the sensitivity that seems to begin with telepathy. Any higher awareness often arrives more vividly, at first, in a lucid dream state, and I am sure that we could learn from animals how best to walk around aware of the things that seem foreign or beyond our grasp. Just as dogs, horses, and cats are so obviously aware of the spirit worlds, the emotional or mental climate, or any thing else going on that is invisible to the naked eye - so, too might we be. Granted, they do not seem to get their wires crossed in dealing with these unseen currents as humans do. We are relearning what other species have not relinquished in the course of their evolution - getting back old habits in long disused innate abilities.
In as much, the ability of the mind to use telepathy is, again, like any other form of psychism, muscular according to one's will and purpose or intention. It can be learned, honed, refined, lifted above worldly concerns. It can be instinctive, as it is with lovers and family. It can be wholly activated by autosuggestion - put into place as an instinctual, mind-based security system to monitor all we care about. It can be triggered when any alien or dangerous element or other foreign energy enters the picture or approaches those we love, transmitting an alarm to wherever we may be, in any state of consciousness, instantly. Setting intuition to work is just like using our built in alarm clock - plan for it, be open, and it arrives.
The most powerful experience of telepathy is the flood of Love and Peace that washes over us, at the moment someone passes (naturally, not necessarily if by their own hand or in some other traumatized state where a spirit may not realize they have left their body, or be otherwise confused or distressed). That is the ultimate psychic interaction that can be shared, in a moment. To go through someone's transition with them is a great honor and gift. As an eye-opener, it is like a near death experience. One time knowing that experience, changes everything about your perspective, both of the earth life and any life after departing the physical body. And that for most would be beyond language as we know it.
It's a fascinating and big subject. Colin Wilson's book called "After Life: Survival of the Soul" covers a lot of ground about such things. It is one of many to mention telepathic powers, man's ancient, latent talents, and the clarity beyond the subconsious, right side of the brain storehouse each of us has at our disposal to (re)access all manner of superconscious abilities.
There is much to be said about telepathy. As with so many of these largely untapped resources, I believe that ability matches will. It doesn't have to be an emergency operation, for crisis only. We can go into the light in full consciousness, or an altered state and check in with whoever we please, treading to leave no trail, as long as the utmost integrity is instituted during remote visualization, or the use of any other clairvoyant capacity. The intention must never trespass upon or attempt to muscle another being's rights, boundaries, or privacy. These are power tools (to use good old modern jargon, something the Guides aren't keen on) for enlightenment, not to be abused.
Telepathy is commonly defined as the communication of thoughts and/or feelings between minds, without the use of the ordinary senses. It has been likened to mindreading. I have witnessed that there is more to it than that. By reaching out with heart, not just mind, it is possible to know what another creature is going through. Compassion sustains telepathy, like any other angle of clairvoyance it is built on a foundation of purity of purpose.
Telepathy is drawing to one's own consciousness the consciousness that another is experiencing - by reaching out for it, sincerely. We let go and let God to be allowed awareness from higher loving forces - with an open heart. The energy dynamic works similarly to how we pray to receive word about loved ones who've left these bodies - it's just a matter of amplitude. It has to do with wavelengths and vibrations, just like telepathic communications with lightbeings from any tier.
Any rapport or bond with animals plunges me into telepathic mode more quickly than any other concentration or reverence ever has. When I turn to the feeling I have for them, faster than the speed of thought, as guides have taught me, I can see through their eyes. Telepathy, in this respect, is generally the most accessible extension of psychic abilities, and is always available, no matter one's current condition - meaning the parameters of what one has to work with within the instrument at any given moment. Generally, the stronger the rapport one can establish, the more solid is the vision, sense and feeling of the "other." It quickly becomes like a "normal" facility, as present as any of the five senses. It then happens spontaneously, free of effort, as one further engagement of one's energy.
That is to say that telepathy, practiced frequently, eases into a naturally occurring reality along with all the other automatic (five) senses. It is not supernatural or strange, but instinctual to all animals, including humans. It is also present in other elemental and plant life, though most humans connect less readily with them, and perceive those communications and connections as feeling rather than thought, it seems. One could look to Findhorn to learn more on that.
Actively functioning to include telepathic perceptions, in daily life, one most immediately perceives what is either in the vicinity or environment, and catches in advance whatever is coming toward one's own air space. Like seeing the mail, the news, events of the day, or any person's energy approaching you every day, hours in advance. Years ago my time frame for that was 24 to 36 hours, now it happens in real time. I know as the energy is created in thought or feeling (thoughtforms/intentions), and most powerfully if it includes any energy attached to ideas about me. For awhile it was 12 hours, now we remote view whatever is created as it is given life. I am also shown who is giving the energies life as they are born, or fed. Guides handle most of this naturally.
We can be aware like an antennae of all that is around us, in other words, as it is generated, although we do not actively engage with it. Distance in "earth" physics is irrelevant - as it does not exist in other dimensions - in soul mind. The compassion of being attune to the all loving Source, flowing through the heart center keeps the heart pure for awareness. Really, it's the same thing as your dog or horse or other family pet knowing what is going on or what you are about, even before you do - all in it's own home or territorial environment. Unlike humans, there is generally little conflict in the directness of mental or emotional states of animals. Spirit reveals often that it is direct.. pure.
There have been times, walking outdoors in an altered state, where I have watched an eagle or a hawk with such a heart stirring awareness that I have suddenly, unexpectedly found myself as if inside the bird as it flew. I so longed to be able to experience his or her flight, that in an instant that overlay that occurs in clairvoyance overcame me. It seems much like remote viewing. A distant awareness remained of my own body, rooted to the ground, transfixed on the bird and sky overhead (and stillness matters.)
But my conscious awareness - the vivid one - was IN the bird, feeling the rain hard and sharp on it's (my) face, a strange film blocking any sensation to the eyes as it cut through the harsh wind and rain in a grace of speed, precision - wings hard, riding every draft perfectly. We were cruising. Now, instant joy and surprise turns immediately to some objective observer as I am learning to sustain the connection for more than a few seconds.
All boundaries or fields of electro-magnetic energies - as large as Ley lines on the earth, as small as patterns or trails of animals - in any element, are like doors that open into the animal and nature kingdoms. Through these fields we find "altered" states of consciousness - heightened states of awareness. Living more closely to the earth, our ancient ancestors were likely able to relax into "cosmic consciousness" naturally in their daily lives. Cave dwelling shamans painted animals, not as art, but to make the magic of the hunt. They were tapping into the energy of the animals, the universal life force ever-present, alive throughout creation. Interconnectedness.
Colin Wilson writes about the psychic's unusual susceptibility to beauty and how easily the artistically sensitive are transported into a greater sense of connectedness with all things. The dynamics of the "unconscious," right side brain are considered fundamental to artistic, psychic, sensitive abilities in humans. It is the right side of the brain that instinctively alerts us to danger, or triggers other gut reactions.
He finds a pattern in psychics that he considers a clue to the roots of clairvoyance and telepathy, and calls it a "low beauty-threshold." In psychological terms threshold means how much stimulus it takes to arouse someone to awareness. He quotes Rosalind Heywood, a gifted clairvoyant, as saying: " I could not - and cannot - formulate what moved me almost beyond bearing in the Hills. It was as if some wind of the spirit blew down..." upon her as she first sees the magnificent mountains of India as a child. This state of ecstasy left her changed, as is the case with all of these influential shifts in consciousness.

Dr. Brian Weiss writes, in Messages From The Masters, "When people have intense spiritual experiences, the energy of love is nearly always evoked. This form of love is unconditional, absolute, and transcendent. It is like a pulse of pure energy, an energy that also possesses powerful attributes, such as wisdom, compassion, timelessness, and sublime consciousness. Love is the most basic and pervasive energy that exists. It is the essence of our being and of our universe. Love is the fundamental building block of nature connecting and unifying all things, all people.
Love is more than a goal, more than a fuel, more than an ideal. Love is our nature. We are love... when we learn to harness this pure energy - healing at all levels, individual and planetary, can occur."
Please see all the great outfits on the Resources page listed under websites, where you can put Faith into action through Stewardship for the animal and plant kingdoms, and the Great Living Mother Earth. The Great Divine Ones have shown me often how the flow of immeasurable Divine Abundance comes full circle with "generosity of spirit," in Joy and Faith. I have yet to hear them mention tithing but they love Stewardship!
